Cunningham
Today Jem and Scout brought over a guest, a Cunningham. I learned alot about how they lived in just a matter on minutes. I was very disappointed how Scout treated him. She criticized Walter on the way he ate. Even if he smothered all of his food in syrup she should not criticize people on the way they ate. Before i lost my anger with her Calpurnia took her outside and spoke with her. I just hope Scout does not embarass us or anyone else again.

Sorry, Atticus it's not my fault that I didn't know that the Cunninghams ate that way. Walter just pours all the syrup on his meats and vegetables that made me go crazy. Please Atticus give me a second chance to say sorry. I now understand from Calpurnia that you have to be polite and not disgraceful to the way people act around you. I hope you understand my apology.
